Anne-Sophie Granjon is a Parisian photographer. She graduated from Parson's School, Paris 1996. Her photographs document her extensive travels across the globe, from New York to Shanghai, Tokyo to Paris, India to Africa. What fascinates her most is the magic of the image and the transience of the moment, as seen in both urban and natural environments. She places her trust in chance, always seeking slow and silent images (even when noise and disintegration take over). A skyscraper, a tree, a human figure; everything is touched by the elegant and me- lancholy vision of the artist that praises beauty and nostalgia. Hers is a photography that treads the line between illusion and reality.
