Born in 1965, Inès Dauxerrre is an art therapist and actress. She has a degree in interior architecture from the MJM School, she uses the mechanisms of the body and aesthetics to express her creativity. She designs setsfor theaters, stage design and advertising.
Through her photographs, Inès Dauxerre shows luminosity through a sensual filter. "Light, is almost genetic for me, because my uncle was a master glassmaker who made stained-glass windows for churches all around France, my father, very manual too, he worked the glass, the shadows and surprise with reflections".With delicacy, she creates luminous sculptures to seize intimacy. Inès Dauxerre applies a rigorous process: she does a cellulose paste and nthe models it. Once the composition is dry, Inès Dauxerre put the elements together and puts resine on them to solidify it. The artist has an admiration for the 5 senses of man and aspires to compose an installation where he can integrate them all. An alchemy of senses for a hymn of man.
Inès Dauxerre exhibited her work at the Musée de l'Homme in 2003, at the Center Georges Pompidou in 2004 and in several galleries.
