Born in 1964 in Normandy, Christine Faict is a French sculptor.

It was only in 2007 that Christine Faict decided to embark on an artistic career. She studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Besancon. Due to her passion for art, it didn't take her long to quickly choose her favorite themes, materials and style. This is when a sensitive and poetic work came into being, through metal plates.

Christine Faict creates gigantic sculptures, blending minerals and vegetables. This work is a
real reflection on the precariousness and fragility of our environment. To create her works, she draws inspiration from nature, she observes it and transcribes all the details on a large format. This is within the spectator's reach, who is really small in front of her majestic art.

Christine Faict's work portrays a marvelous duality between the masculine aspect of the material and the feminine aspect of iron lace.
